The Gionee Elife S8 is a Dual SIM ((Micro-SIM/Nano-SIM) smartphone from the china based company, Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd. The phone has a 5.5 inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels and Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection.
The Gionee Elife S8 is powered by Octa-core Mediatek MT6755 Helio P10 processor clocking at 1.9 GHz, 64 GB internal memory, 4 GB RAM and Mali-T860MP2 GPU. The internal storage can be expanded upto 200 GB via a microSD card. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Elife S8 has an 16 megapixel primary camera (features Geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR) with Led Flash and auto focus on the rear. On the front of the device is a 8 megapixel secondary camera which can be used to make video calls and capture beautiful selfies.
The Gionee Elife S8 runs on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow operating system, offering direct access to popular Google applications like Gmail, YouTube, Play Store and Google Maps. It has a non-removable Li-Ion 3000 mAh battery. The dimensions of device are 154.3 x 74.9 x 7 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 147.2 grams.
Connectivity options of Elife S8 include Wi-Fi, GPS, mircoUSB 2.0, GPRS, Edge, 2G/3G/4G networks and Bluetooth 4.0. Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint, accelerometer, proximity and compass. Messaging can be done through SMS, MMS, Email, Push Mail and IM. The Elife S8 is available in Gray, Gold and Rose Gold color.
