The Gionee Marathon M4 is a Dual SIM (Micro-SIM) android smartphone manufactured by china based company, Gionee Communication Equipment Co. Ltd. The phone has a 5.0 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with the resolution of 720 x 1280 pixels. It uses Amigo 3.0 interface.
The Gionee Marathon M4 is powered by Quad-core Cortex-A7 processor clocking at 1.3 GHz, Mali-400 GPU, 16 GB internal memory and 2 GB RAM. The internal storage can be expanded via microSD card up 32 GB. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Marathon M4 has a 8 megapixel primary camera (features Geo-tagging, touch focus, HDR, panorama and face detection) with autofocus and LED flash on the rear. On the front of the device is a 5 megapixel secondary camera which can be used to make video calls and capture beautiful selfies.
The Gionee Marathon M4 runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop operating system, offering direct access to popular Google applications like Gmail, YouTube, Play Store and Google Maps. It has a non-removable Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery. The dimensions of the phone are 144.7 x 71.2 x 10.2 mm (height x width x thickness) and weighs 176 grams.
Connectivity options of Marathon M4 include Wi-Fi, GPS, microUSB 2.0, GPRS, Edge, 2G, 3G, 4G and Bluetooth 2.0. Sensors on the phone include accelerometer, proximity and compass. Messaging can be done through SMS, MMS, Email, Push Mail and IM. The Marathon M4 is available in White and Black color.
