Together with the new Android Wear 2.0 system debuts two new LG smart watches, prepared in collaboration with Google. The LG Watch Style and LG Watch Sport models are the first models that have the new version of the Google system. The smart watches will be available for purchase starting February 10 in the US.
LG Watch Style is the simplest, smallest and cheapest android watch. The watch is available in three colors (Silver, Titanium and Rose Gold). It comes with a 1.2-inch P-OLED round display, a resolution of 360 x 360 pixels and a pixel density of 299 ppi.
Its heart is the quad-core processor dedicated to the devices Snapdragon Wear 2100 1.1 GHz, supported with 512 MB of RAM. The watch also has 4GB of internal memory, Bluetooth 4.2 LE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b / g / n and 240 mAh battery with inductive load. The watch case is made of dust and water resistant (IP67), straps can be replaced.
The LG Watch Sport is the most advanced model. As well as the Watch Style, it has a casing made of metal, but without the possibility of replacing the strap – but is more resistant to water – IP68. We can buy it with a case in dark blue or titanium. It is larger – it has a P-OLED screen of 1.38 inches and a resolution of 480×480 pixels, hence the pixel density is 348 ppi.
The processor and internal memory are identical, as in the LG Watch Style, the clock already has 768 MB of RAM and the largest battery – 430 mAh. The range of connectivity options, in addition to Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, includes the NFC module (among others, for payments) and the LTE modem with a built-in SIM slot, thanks to which the clock does not depend on the smartphone. The device also has GPS and heart rate meter.
